1. Who we are

CLASSIFIED is operated by Classified Group Pty Ltd (“CLASSIFIED”, “we”, “us” or “our”). This policy explains what personal information we collect through thisisclassified.com.au (the “Website”), why we collect it, how we use and store it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us through our forms, and limited technical information automatically when you use the Website.

Early Access registrations:

First name, email address, city, preferred area, preferred month, and (if you choose to tell us) how you heard about CLASSIFIED.

Private Mission enquiries:

Name, email address, phone number (optional), city, preferred area, preferred month, approximate group size, occasion, and any notes you choose to share.

Automatically collected: standard analytics and attribution data such as pages viewed, UTM campaign parameters, and general usage events (for example, when a button is clicked or a form is completed), used to understand where visitors come from and how the Website is used.

3. How we use your information

We use the information collected to:

• Notify you when CLASSIFIED launches, or becomes available, in your selected city;
• Assess and respond to Private Mission enquiries, including contacting you to plan your experience;
• Understand demand across cities, areas and months so we can decide where to launch next;
• Improve the Website and our marketing based on aggregate, non-identifying analytics; and
• Where you have given explicit marketing consent, send you Classified intel, mission drops and early-access updates.

4. Marketing consent

Marketing consent is collected via a separate, clearly-labelled checkbox on each form and is never bundled with, or assumed from, your registration or enquiry itself. If you consent, your details are added to our email platform (MailerLite) so we can send you relevant updates, segmented by the interest you registered (for example, Early Access or Private Missions) and by city, area and month. You can withdraw this consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us using the details below.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the Website and respond to enquiries — currently Supabase (database hosting), MailerLite (email marketing, only where you have consented), and our email notification provider used to alert our team to new Private Mission enquiries. These providers are only permitted to use your information to provide services to us.

6. Data storage and security

Your information is stored securely using industry-standard hosting infrastructure. Access to stored registrations and enquiries is restricted to authorised CLASSIFIED personnel. We retain your information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw marketing consent at any time, by contacting us using the details below.

8. Age requirements

CLASSIFIED experiences are designed for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
